Film shot in the Manila North Cemetery “Tombstone Pillow”, wins Best Inspirational Film at the Hollywood Gold Awards
The IMDB Qualifying Film Festival Hollywood Gold Awards has selected the short film Tombstone Pillow as the winner for Best Inspirational Film this 2020.

Tombstone Pillow is a film produced by Lourdes Duque Baron under Timeless Entertainment Inc., the film is directed by Dream Team Directors Bayou Benett and Daniel Lir and written by Fraser Scott.

Can You Imagine Sleeping inside a Graveyard?
Sleeping on a graveyard is a mortifying experience and no one in their right mind would voluntarily do this, not even just for fun. Seeing tombstones inside the Cemetery can make you imagine all sorts of things, from creepy crawlers, ghosts, and zombies. seem creepy and eerie and remind us that one day we are all going to die. But for the 6,000 impoverished people living in the cemetery, this is the daily and bitter reality.

Many families living in the Manila North Cemetery are so poor that the only remaining choice for them is to sleep inside the tombs and mausoleums for the dead. Dream Team Directors with Lourdes Duque Baron and Fraser Scott knew that they had to bravely set out and discover the place, to witness and do the film project “ Tombstone Pillow”.

There is a message, a story waiting to be told. A real, honest, and raw energy in the film location of Tombstone Pillow. As a result, Tombstone Pillow became widely successful with its film festival run. The message cannot be denied, it made a huge impact on worldwide audiences, both film critics and film enthusiasts alike. It even got the attention of Streaming giant Amazon Prime.

In 2019, the film crew set out on a mission and went down in the graveyards of the Manila North Cemetery.
The film is about a rich and opulent widow named Olivia. The role was played by Award-winning Actress, Humanitarian, Grammy nominee Lourdes Duque Baron. In the scene, you will see her trying to flee from an angry mob. Suddenly, a poor graveyard girl- played by Kendra De Mesa, comes to her rescue.

Tombstone Pillow was shot together by the same team who made the Oscar Entry for the Philippines “Birdshot” in 2018 with cinematographer Mycko David. Tombstone Pillow is a favorite and fierce competitor to both Oscar, IMDB, and BAFTA.
17 Nominations and 12 Wins
Tombstone Pillow won the Best Short Drama Series for ICP Entertainment Short Film Series. Tombstone Pillow was given the award for” Best Social Theme” award at The Conception Independent Film Awards and The New York Movie Awards selected the film as the winner for” Inspirational Category”.

The Global Impact Film Festival screened the film on August 8 and granted it as the film” Special Jury Recognition”. While the Venice Film Awards chose Tombstone Pillow as” Winner of Inspirational Category”.
Global Short Film Awards, “Tombstone Pillow” won “Best Screenplay” and “Best Cinematography.”
The Hollywood Movie Awards selected the film as the winner for “Inspirational Category.”
The Morehouse Human Rights Festival will screen the film from September 24–26.
Lourdes Duque Baron was also nominated for Best Actress at the New York City International Film Festival.
