 Pastor Peter Tan Chi started his journey to serve Jesus Christ in 1982 through an evangelistic home Bible Study in Brookside Subdivision, Cainta, Rizal. Only 3 people came in the Bible study, but after several years by the grace of God the Bible study grew and moves to San Juan City. After two years a core group of 40 people composed of entrepreneurs, professionals and their families established the Christ’s Commission Foundation in August 1984.

Since then CCF grew, today it has church worship services in Greenbelt, Makati, a Conference Room in the Philippine International Convention Center, and then the PICC Plenary Hall. CCF now has church services in Sucat, Valle Verde Country Club. CCF also has an active live Youtube online service and Bible study to help motivate people to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

“Young people today and some of you don’t get excited in reading the Bible, you know why you are not excited? Let me tell you why? In your heart, you don’t really know the heart of God, you don’t know that God loves you. You have not been in love with God. You don’t really Know God. But if you love somebody, you want to listen to that person. How can you delight in God’s word if you don’t trust Him? How can you know God if you do not read the Bible? Until you delight in the Lord, you will not devour the Word of God. The Bible is very precious- it is God’s way of revealing His heart to you.

” In your mind, When I come to Jesus I won’t have problems. In your mind if God loves me I will not get sick. On the contrary just because you are sick. Just because you have a problem doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love you. We have to trust Jesus Christ because He loves us. Sometimes He allows problems, and this problem is not the end. Your problems will be used by God to glorify Him. But we have to do our part and not be bitter and angry. When you are disappointed with life, with people, when you have trials, consider it all joy. The meaning of trusting God is to trust His purpose in your life. God is more concerned with our character. Problems and hardships is part of character development”.

If you say you are a Christian and your lifestyle doesn’t match the teachings of Jesus Christ then something is wrong- there must be proof of your faith. The Lord changes the heart. You will stop enjoying womanizing, and becoming an alcoholic. How you will respond to others will show if you have changed or not–
